Climate change is a global crisis that must be urgently addressed by all, identifying actions that contribute to the deceleration of this problem that affects us all.

It is necessary to work to mitigate climate change and take action so we can adapt better. In that sense, we at Nakasawa have adopted a futuristic mindset and have always been guided by running a sustainable business, keeping in mind the oil and gas sector’s footprint on the environment.

The sector is aware that this issue must be addressed urgently and that is why it has been innovating with technologies that are more sustainable and allow for a decrease in the environmental impact. Particularly in Nakasawa, we have developed a solution which we call Super Matroid Heater (SMH). This system of high-quality steam generation secures the mitigation and control of emissions of polluting gases into the environment (CO2, CO, NOx, SO2) at levels well below those established by government agencies.

SMH technology has environmental benefits. It is a green technology that contains the negative impacts that result from conventional OTSGs. SMH allows the process of meeting the scheduled heat supply to take place in a shorter time compared to a conventional OTSG. This not only ensures operational savings, but also guarantees savings in fuel gas supply and a lower volume of treated water. By optimizing recovery, we extend the field’s life cycle, minimize the environmental impact and make the project more profitable in a socially responsible manner.

Thanks to cutting-edge steam generation technology, SMH encourages the production of more oil, reduces costs and operating times, and all through a more sustainable and profitable process.

At Nakasawa, we are committed to continuing encouraging the development of technologies that reduce environmental impacts and to continue a sustainable practice in the production of oil and gas resources to sustain the world’s current and future energy needs.
