Jose Wilfredo Molina Castrillon is the president and founder of Nakasawa Resources, a global leader in upstream oil and gas production technology development that specializes in thermal enhanced oil recovery (THEOR). Throughout his professional career, Jose Wilfredo has stood out as a successful entrepreneur. He opened his first business – a parcel delivery service – at the age of 24, which sparked his interest in entrepreneurship.

Today, Jose Wilfredo dedicates most of his time to running Nakasawa Resources, recognized as one of the most dynamic companies in the industry, and managing his team of professionals to meet the world’s growing energy needs.

Jose Wilfredo has dedicated his time to both his company’s strategic development and technological advancement in the oil and gas industry. Thanks to his leadership and vision, Nakasawa Resources is globally recognized for providing solutions capable of economically increasing the amount of crude oil that can be recovered throughout the production process. In addition, Jose Wilfredo and his team of professionals have been able to create, design and engineer important innovations that have transformed the industry, such as the Super Matroid Heater and Ultra Filtration Systems.

Complementing his responsibilities at Nakasawa Resources, Jose Wilfredo has extensive experience in Latin American markets and has represented several companies in the energy and mining sectors. In the past, Jose Wilfredo served as director of the El Salvador/U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Industry and as editor of the Chamber’s monthly magazine.

Jose Wilfredo has five children and lives in Madrid. During his free time, he writes for this personal blog, where he shares his oil and gas industry viewpoints, ideas, and knowledge. As part of his efforts to develop his community, he provides support to help a group of young students access quality educations, setting them on the path to a prosperous future. In addition, he contributes annually to developing the sports world in his native Venezuela by sponsoring the El Hatillo Sports Club, whose main mission is to promote sports among children and young adults.

Jose Wilfredo holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela.
